4works great for a fraction of local cost  Feb 23, 2008 By J. Ryan
the valve works great. construction is a little flimsy but I looked at valves from local plumbing company and they were just as flimsy so guess that's the norm. price from amazon was 20% of local price. How can you argue with that?

3OK but don't expect it to last  Oct 15, 2009 By Doc
These vents are substantially cheaper than others... for a reason. I just replaced one that split up the side. If you want a radiator air vent that will last longer, it's worth it to spend more for something else.

4Good value for the $, but you may need something better  Feb 10, 2011 By Michael S Daly
These vents do the job, and are a great value considering they're adjustable. They also seemed solid enough.

That said, they're loud (don't use in a bed room!) and don't have a very high capacity for venting air volume.

I'd only use these for small radiators that are close to the boiler.

2Junk  Jan 15, 2012 By Paul Hanley
Stick with Maid O Mist (how can you deny them when the abbreviation is MoM?) if you want an inexpensive solution. This one began leaking within two months of installation. It also rattled like mad. I picked up a MoM and it has worked through the entire following season, in addition to the previous season that it replaced this subpar Watts unit.

3Don't bother.  Jan 16, 2012 By C. Bibby
Service guy installed these on my radiators when he replaced numerous radiators last year. One has already split up the side and spits water like a fountain. Venting is not that great for radiators furthest from the boiler, but its ok for those on the main floor or for smaller radiators.

I would recommend just spending more money on a Hoffman so you can install and forget about it. Would not buy these unless I was broke.
