We Did It! May 11, 2009
By L. Slade I am sooooo thankful for this product! It was exactly the right size replacement for what we had, which doesn't seem to be around any more. Just one thing, however; the fan blade/wheel is actually 4.5 inches in diameter, not four, like most of the descriptions say. This worked for us, but pay attention to whether or not it will work for you.

Fan Replacement Mar 04, 2009
By FriendOfGracie Fan works perfectly. One purchasing idea - make sure you measure depth/size of fan motor. This was a little confusing as there are many to choose.
Easy transaction.

Perfect fit Feb 26, 2009
By Customer This item was a perfect fit for a really old ceiling fan motor, and good thing it was, otherwise I would have had to try to remove or replace the rest of the unit, which would have entailed cutting a larger hole in the ceiling and who knows what other problems.

Product installed easily and worked as expected. The seller shipped fast too. That is about all you can say for a replacement motor.

underpowered Jun 27, 2011
By Harold I purchased two of these motors to replace old 1970s Nutone bathroom fan motors which must push open a light aluminum flap just above the fan. These motors install easily; but they cannot budge the flaps, which weigh almost nothing and require mere contact to open. I have to prop open the flaps so that these motors can draw air from the bathrooms. Be careful - understand that while these motors install easily, they are underpowered. They cannot open a flap which weighs almost nothing. If this is your situation, you need a stronger motor.
