A little shorter and lighter than I thought it would be Nov 16, 2008

If it was four inches longer and a little heavier weighted I'd like it better. But it does the job (aside from those four inches) and I'm glad I have it. Pay attention to measurements of your door and the door stop though so you don't wind up with one that is too short like I did.

Lightweight Mar 04, 2010
By D. Waldmann The description says it's got cotton bags filled with stone... well there certainly isn't much if any. It feels like a sock full of batting. It is almost impossible to get a good seal since it is not heavy enough to stay where you put it.

Does NOT stop anything! Nov 04, 2010

I bought this product because of the good reviews it received. This "draft stopper" doesn't stop anything. It is much too light to stay in place -- if you push it into place at one end, the other end swings away from the door! Supposedly, the little bags of stone are supposed to weigh it down. Nope. I am very disappointed in this product. What ever happened to the old type draft stopper? They weighed about 2 lbs and never moved unless you wanted them to. Live and learn.
