direct heat where you want it Apr 14, 2010 This is excellent to keep the heat going into the room and not up behind your draperies. Sturdy magnets.

Special purpose deflectors Dec 08, 2007 We bought these deflectors to stop air from blowing up into or onto our draperies without changing the general direction of air flow up into the room. They worked great for this purpose. The deflectors adjust easily to varying sizes of vents. I would have rated them with 5 stars had the deflectors been made of a higher quality plastic. The plastic used, while being clear and therefore not noticable, can be kicked or stepped upon easily by accident, causing the thin brittle plastic to break. A heavier and more flexible type of clear plastic would be better for this type of deflector used on floor vents.
