couldn't live without it Dec 08, 2010
By chuck8094 I've been using this stuff for 32 years. The LOW density foam crushes down to practically nothing, when required, thus it doesn't interfere with closing the door properly (the deadbolt still works). Mineral spirits or alcohol remove the adhesive for repainting, and it is completely like new when you're done. Absolutely the best replacable door insulation I've ever seen, and it lasts as long as the paint job.

Worked perfectly Jun 14, 2008

My law office has both a private and a public entrance. The weatherstrip had worn out around the private entrance door and as a result I had cold air leaking in during winters and hot air leaking in during summers. Bought this foam tape to cure the problem and it has worked perfectly. Would buy again if needed

i got this for my apartment's front door because i have a smelly neighbor and the smell comes into our apartment from the hallway. this item worked great!! it was easy to use (i had it up in 5 minutes) and blocks the smells from the hallway. it compresses nicely so that the door action isn't hampered. very happy with the product.

OMG - I just weatherstripped a door in 3 minutes! Nov 12, 2011
By windypoo This stuff is ridiculously easy to apply and the finished result is a very clean, neat appearance. Plus, it does block light and temperature from around my door. Our house is for sale and we are forever looking for ways to spruce it up and new weatherstripping was on the list. I just completed 3 exterior doors in less than 10 minutes (not counting time spent removing the old weatherstripping). To say it's easy to apply is an understatement! One package completes a single regular-sized exterior door jam on both sides and the top, with about 12" of weatherstripping to spare. The adhesive tape removes easily as you meander along the door jam, pressing in place as you go.

By Lacyfan This is easy to use although getting the bottom off the sticky part when you start out is a little tricky. This is a medium to light gray color instead of what looks like a dark gray to black color shown in the picture. I put this around my doorway. I'd recommend buying two rolls for the door since I ran out trying to put some under the metal door.
