1Tears easily, won't last long  Dec 11, 2011 By Ann E. Sherman
I bought a dryer from Abt and had them install it, including replacing the dryer vent tubing. Sadly, they used Lamaflex tubing by Lambro Industries (the label is still on). I paid professionals to install it so it would be done right, but within two days I saw lint flying up from of the back of my new dryer, and found that the tubing was already torn. I used duct tape to tape it up, but since then it has torn in two other places, making both a mess and a fire hazard. The tubing ripping wide open is not something that should just happen on its own - maybe a stray sock or two dropped back there, but that shouldn't be enough to gash open the tubing! There's wire running through this at wide intervals, but in between there's several inches of material no thicker than tissue paper, and that's what tears so easily, especially at any place that the tubing has to bend. This is cheap but dangerous - pay more for something decent.

5TUBING DOES IT'S JOB  Apr 30, 2009 By T. J. DAVID "JANANDTERRYS"
THIS TUBING DID THE JOB. I NEEDED A DRYER VENTED TO THE OUTSIDE WITHOUT A LOT OF HASSLE. IT'S VENTED AND I DIDN'T SPEND A LOT OF MONEY.
