You can save every month on your dryer bills if you keep your vent system free of lint. The system generally pays for itself in the cost savings after the first use. In addition, it will help avoid the fires that can occur when lint buildup blocks the flow of air, causing excessive heat buildup by keeping your dryer vent clear with the LintEater. Designed by a leading manufacturer of professional duct-cleaning equipment, the LintEater Dryer Vent Cleaning System effectively removes dangerous lint build-up in almost every type of dryer vent system, and it's easy to use with a shop vac or cordless drill (sold separately) or even your dryer's air. | | | |

Big bang - small buck Aug 04, 2006
By D. P. Didear
"Dryer Vent Specialist"
I'm a dryer vent cleaning specialist with over 12 years experience in this field. The LintEater system is, by far the best device I've found for cleaning dryer vents - and I've tried more than a few. The instruction manual was created by professionals who REALLY know laundry ducts. They steer the user away from the many errors which can lead to costly repairs and show, step-by-step how to properly and safely clean a dryer vent. The system parts are high quality and durable - even under hard and constant usage. The cost is unbelievably low compared to other products on the market. I give it three thumbs up.

Mandatory solution to improve dryer performance Apr 28, 2006
By B. Milhous Well designed, easy to use and absolutely works! The flex shafts are about 3/8" dia and work nicely in 3ft segments. Using a 18V cordless drill it really really works well. Our duct goes about 18ft up through the roof and this worked flawlessly. The extra 12ft in this kit is the way to go giving you 27ft total of rods. The 4in vac attachment is perfect to suck out the duct lint AFTER you run the brush through.
I highly recommend this solution. Your dryer will perform SO MUCH better...

LintEater works like it says Nov 10, 2006
By Bret J. Hoskins
"bhoskinz"
I live in a two-story townhome where the dryer vent goes straight up and out through the roof (20+ feet up).
The lint eater removed huge amounts of lint with ease.
Total time after four passes through: 1 hour
No problems as long as you follow the directions.

Great Product, Easy to use Oct 02, 2006
By Lonestar WOW- This is a great product. Very easy to read instructions (I did not watch the quick start DVD). The packaging is plain cardboard and it makes you wonder about the quality of the product. But once you open it and use it everything is just fine! Very Fast and it makes it's way around corners very well.
I was able to reduce our drying time on towels from 110 min to 70 and on cloths from 70 min to 35.
WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

Buyer beware...very poor quality Feb 15, 2010
By Mike Z Normally I don't write reviews, but I felt obligated after using this product. After watching the video and reading the directions, I connected one of the 4ft rods to my drill and inserted into my dryer vent duct. After a minute, the rod snapped. Assuming the rod was defective, I used another and connected the other 2 rods. After a few minutes, the rod broke *again* and this time it was deep within the vent duct. It took several hours to fish out remaining pieces, which I promptly took back to the store. Please be aware, the quality of the rods are cheap plastic that can break very easily. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere and avoid the frustration.
